Penny Proud: Mom, did you hear anything I just said? Trudy Proud: He does? Well that settles it. Penny Proud: Yes! All he talks about is discipline and commitment and the unity of mind, body and spirit. Penny Proud: But Mom, the other school is boring! All we do are the basics over and over again! Trudy Proud: It seems to me you can't really become a black belt in one day. At the Jack Stone School of Advanced Martial Arts, you can get your black belt in one day, saving me years of agony and you hundreds, no, thousands of dollars. Penny Proud: But Mama! I'm actually saving you money. Oscar Proud: A blind date with Frederick Douglass? A fully furnished cave? Ha! Fire? Ha! Ha! Suga Mama: $250? Do you know what I could have bought with $250 back in my day? Trudy gives hard love to her daughter when its needed and makes sure Penny is a good person at the end of the day. However, thats not to say that Trudy coddles her teenage daughter. Oscar Proud: How much is this gonna cost us, Penny? Unlike Oscar, Trudy always understands where Penny is coming from and does what she can to help her in her time of need. I would just like to further my martial arts education elsewhere. Now before you say anything, I'm not quitting. Penny Proud: Okay, I want to transfer karate schools. Trudy Proud: Now you know that's not the way it works, Penny. Penny Proud: Sign it first, then I'll tell you. I think that is what THE PROUD FAMILY is all about.Penny Proud: Hi, Daddy, Mama, Suga Mama. Trudy licked her lips at the thought of it and another set of lips became. Each rippling muscle drenched with sweat. He had a habit of doing it without a shirt, which allowed Trudy to admire his beautiful, muscular body. It's OKAY to leave your brains at the door sometimes and just laugh. Invited Over(Trudy Proud from Proud Family) Trudy Proud found herself watching her neighbor, Harry, doing yard work a lot. All cartoons do not necessarily have to be morality plays and filled with life lessons (although the Rosa Parks episode was charming in a way). As foolish as this family and group of friends can get at times, it's clear that deep down, they have a fondness for each other and every now and then you get a good belly laugh. I have yet to see gang banging, dope dealing, prostitution, or gross sexuality or profanity here. Stereotypes? Please, given the choice I would rather the kiddies watch this than anything on BET (Booty Entertainment Television). With that said, the show is pretty funny when you don't take it too seriously. This show's mix between kid and adult humor sometimes goes off of the mark. Not everyone can do this kind of comedy well. Penny is not thrilled when all of her friends. Penny wants to follow her friends to the new dojo, but Trudy forbids it, wanting her to stick with her dojo.

Producer Bruce Smith is no Jay Ward or Matt Groening (of Bullwinkle and Simpsons fame to non-hardcore cartoon fans). You will Watch The Proud Family Season 2 Episode 8 online for free episodes with HQ / high quality. Uncle Bobby (Cedric the Entertainer) is cursed with a horrible voice that poorly imitates Larry Blackman of Cameo fame (AAAooow!!!). And the show tries a bit too hard to be clever and slap happy (a nerdy character is named "Myron Lewisnsky" and a bratty Latina is named "LaCiegnica Boulevardz" after a street in Los Angeles. Admittedly, Penny (the usually appealing Kyla Pratt) can be annoying at times (with her constant shrieking of "DADDY") and the father (Tommy Davidson) is just a bit TOO stupid. My nieces and nephews enjoy this, and having grown up on Fat Albert, Bullwinkle, Hoppity Hooper, etc.
