They collect the robot, disguise it as Rudy and send him off for the Chalk Mine with the intent to deystroy it. Unfortunately, Skrawl and Craniac4 see the Rudy-and-Penny-designed robot and realize it's perfect for their plans. Unable to agree, they erase it from their chalk board. Penny wants a practical robot, Rudy wants a martial arts fighting machine. But they're having trouble agreeing on the design. Meanwhile, Rudy and Penny have also teamed up to design a robot that will win the coveted National Young Robot Developers (NYRD) award. Their plan: design a robot that will pretend to be Rudy, enter the Magic Chalk Mine and destroy it, leaving Rudy chalkless.
